Victorian council 'disgusted' by mining company's attitude

Horsham Rural City Council rejected mining company WIM Resource's invitation to join its community reference group on Friday, saying the move is premature without mining licence approval. Mayor Brian Klowss said council is "disgusted" with WIM's attitude toward community concerns. HRCC will not support the proposed Avonbank mineral sands mine unless the Victorian government and WIM address outstanding questions.
