Ultra-processed food companies hindering health drives by suing countries, says WHO

Ultra-processed food corporations are suing governments to obstruct obesity-fighting health policies, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Thursday. A Guardian investigation found 235 lawsuits filed against health measures in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, the US and UK since 2010, with three-quarters lost by companies.
