Snorkel or walk between two of Earth’s tectonic plates

In early May, visitors snorkeled through Silfra in Thingvellir National Park, Iceland, the only site where people can dive between tectonic plates. Despite water temperatures between 2C and 4C, Silfra remains a top diving destination, named one of the 20 best by PADI in 2021. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases inter-continental drifting.
