A 15-year-old schoolboy is undergoing emergency surgery after three hooded youths attacked him near Cranbourne South school in Melbourne's southeast. The attackers armed with machetes and knives slashed the boy's back, neck and hands as he fled back toward the school. Police say the offenders remain at large and are investigating the extremely violent incident.
