Sainsbury’s to sell Argos to three retail veterans in £120m deal

Sainsbury's agreed Friday to sell Argos retail chain to Swift Partners, a new company formed by retail veterans Richard Pennycook, Trevor Strain and Matt Truman, for £120 million. The supermarket bought Argos over a decade ago for more than £1 billion but struggled with the non-food business.
