Ribena owner invests in helping blackcurrants withstand extreme weather

Ribena's owner Suntory is investing £200,000 to help blackcurrant bushes withstand extreme weather after this year's UK harvest fell about 10% below the average of 10,000 tonnes. Crops faced wet winters, spring frost, hail and summer heatwaves across East Anglia, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Kent and Scotland.
