Police found an armed 25-year-old man dead in his car after a cross-border pursuit ended on an embankment in northern NSW at 2am Sunday. The driver had fled Queensland officers into NSW, evading police across 26km despite spike strips in South Murwillumbah. Officers discovered him unconscious; CPR proved unsuccessful.
