Peter MacCallum opens GIANT trial testing new glioblastoma immunotherapy treatment approach
An Australian clinical trial based on the late Professor Richard Scolyer's experimental glioblastoma treatment has opened at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. The GIANT trial will recruit about 90 patients globally, including roughly 45 Australians, to test immunotherapy combined with surgery and radiotherapy.
