Perth property developer sues politicians, journalists over ‘toxic soil’ articles
Perth property developer Greg Poland began a 13-day Supreme Court trial Monday, suing WAtoday and journalists over 2019 articles alleging he tried to dump toxic soil in the Peel region. Poland's lawyer argued the soil was never toxic and journalists failed to consult a public AECOM report confirming safety levels.
