Melbourne school locked down as shotgun-wielding causes chaos outside
A man armed with a shotgun crashed a stolen vehicle outside Pascoe Vale South Primary School in Melbourne on Tuesday morning, triggering a lockdown. Police arrested the 29-year-old suspect within 10 minutes after he allegedly abandoned the firearm in a nearby laneway. The Volvo had been stolen from North Melbourne the previous.
