Maritana cranks up WA Black Swan gold conversion with $25M spend

Maritana Minerals committed $25 million to an early works program at its Black Swan gold processing hub near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. GR Engineering Services will handle detailed engineering, earthworks and equipment procurement over 20 weeks. The company targets first gold production in late 2027 from the converted nickel facility, which will process 2.5 million tonnes of ore annually.
