Man pleads not guilty to murdering AFL champion's brother in 2012
A 72-year-old man pleaded not guilty Friday to murdering Brendan Breen, brother of AFL premiership champion Barry Breen, who disappeared in April 2012. Brian James Hall appeared via videolink in Melbourne Magistrates Court and is accused of killing Breen in Toorak between April 11 and 13, 2012. The case returns to Supreme Court on August 6 for a directions hearing.
