Daughter rejects claim parents ignored evacuation order in deadly Spanish wildfire

Danielle Kirton rejected Spanish claims her parents ignored evacuation orders during a July wildfire in Bédar, Almería that killed 13 people. The evacuation order came more than three hours after the fire alert, delivered by a single police officer instead of the emergency alert system. Kirton said her parents would have evacuated immediately if properly warned.
