Commonwealth Games: Rose Davies claims historic middle-distance double as gold rush continues

Rose Davies won the 5000m at Glasgow's Commonwealth Games on Friday, three days after claiming the 10000m gold, becoming the first Australian to achieve the middle-distance double. Teammate Jessica Hull finished second in 14:45.01, with Davies crossing in 14:44.53. The last Australian one-two on the Commonwealth Games track occurred in 1974.
