Commonwealth Games: Leigh Hoffman claims kilo gold and Games record

Australian sprinter Leigh Hoffman won gold in the 1km time trial at the Commonwealth Games on Sunday, setting a Games record of 58.530 seconds at Glasgow's Sir Chris Hoy velodrome. Hoffman claimed his third gold of these Games, breaking Matt Glaetzer's previous mark of 59.340 from 2018. England's Josaph Truman took silver while Australian Tayte Ryan claimed bronze.
