Beloved by Australians visiting Japan, this bookstore is finally headed to Melbourne

Japanese bookstore Kinokuniya will open its first Melbourne location by August as part of Melbourne Central's $170 million redevelopment. The store will stock English-language titles, manga, comics and imported stationery alongside an events space for author appearances. The expansion marks the shopping precinct's biggest upgrade in 20 years, adding 7,800 square metres of retail space and new dining venues.
