A fire at a Bangkok bar killed 33 people Monday, including four members of indie band Thotsakan. Band leader Athipat Wichan escaped but lost his girlfriend and vocalist Nahathai Satjalert, along with keyboardist Pruttipong Phutmon and drummer Nathaphat Thammanitha. "I had imagined us being together until we're old," Athipat told BBC Thai at her funeral.
