Australians’ favorable opinions of Israel and Trump decline in new poll
A Guardian Essential poll found Australians hold a more negative view of Israel than China, with only 19% expressing a positive sentiment towards Israel. Perceptions of Donald Trump also declined, as just 28% of respondents reported a favorable opinion of the US president, a drop from 36% in June 2024. The survey included 1,017 participants.
