RSPCA Queensland to cough up millions to underpaid staff
RSPCA Queensland will pay $4.3 million to over 1000 underpaid staff following a regulator investigation. The organization, which self-reported in 2023, incorrectly applied payroll clauses resulting in unpaid overtime and penalty rates from February 2017 to October 2024. The Fair Work Ombudsman commended RSPCA's cooperation and commitment to rectify the issues.
