Mary the runaway Tasmanian devil found on Gold Coast
Mary, a two-year-old Tasmanian devil that escaped from her Gold Coast enclosure on June 2, was recaptured after a two-week search. Found in bushland less than two kilometers from the wildlife park, she was in unstable condition and required veterinary care. Village Roadshow described the escape as “extremely rare” and initially suspected theft.
