Kalgoorlie-Boulder students learn disaster protection through Minecraft education game
Kids in Kalgoorlie-Boulder participated in a Minecraft-based education game, Resource Respond Rescue, earlier this month to learn disaster protection strategies. Developed by CoRE Learning Foundation, the game engaged Year 5 and 6 students in simulating responses to natural disasters in mining towns. Students applied their learning by creating their own Minecraft mines with disaster mitigations.
